Description

This is a full set of notes for 70108 Public International Law, formatted in order to easily solve problem scenario style questions in the final exam.

I received a High Distinction in this subject.

All topics covered in the course are broken down into their elements that need to be satisfied in each case. Under each element, the authoritative cases are listed, with the important rules that were established. This is very useful in solving problem scenarios as once you have located the relevant topic in my notes, you can just follow the table and discuss each element, citing the relevant cases, to successfully reach a conclusion.

These notes include:
- All topics studied in the course, including sources of international law, attribution of state responsibility, breach of international law, circumstances precluding wrongfulness
- Important case law for each topic
- All relevant section of the Vienna Convention of the Law of the Treaties, ILC Draft Articles on the Responsibility of States for Internationally Wrongful Acts (2001) (SRA) etc.
- Coloured important words and laws (important for easy location when in an exam scenario)

IMPORTANT: There is no useless information in these notes, they are not long for no reason. They are comprehensive, but still easy to flick through when solving fact scenarios.
