    Very helpful for PLT exam! Rented as an ebook and so far it is great. Classmates who purchased the loose leaf version from the bookstore were disappointed in the black and white pages and inability to sell back or return. Renting the ebook was a great option for me. I was able to view it on my iPad, highlight, define words i was unsure of, create flashcards and bookmarks, and the entire text was in full color. It made reading more interesting for me. Highly recommend!

    The condition wasn't perfect, but only the cover and some pages were torn. So really, it didn't affect anything at all. It is a lot thicker than I expected it to be. I had to use a bigger binder to store it in rather than a standard size. The pages are made out of what seems like a slightly thicker version of printer paper. The text also appears to have just been printed onto the page. In other words, the pages do not feel like what they would in a traditional textbook. Other than those details, it's exactly what I needed with no missing pages that I'm aware of. It's just fine, unless you absolutely have to have the best quality version out there. If that's the case, I would warn you to get an actual bound edition if that exists.

    The book gives you a detailed look at learning theorists and their theories, the characteristics of educational research and rich nuances into terms like intelligence, etc. I would dare say that this is the best all-around education text that any aspiring teacher should keep in their collection as a ready reference for career challenges.
