5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive But Worth It
Verified PurchaseI bought this book for a class, and I did the deal where you buy the hard copy book and get the kindle version for $10. To do this, you just buy the hardcopy, and then after you check out, it will ask you if you want to buy the kindle version for $10.
I don't like to spend this kind of money on books, but I have to say it was well worth it. The book is very polished and extremely well-edited, so it makes learning important concepts (and preparing for class) very straightforward. If you absolutely can't afford the high price of this book (11th Edition), you may want to look for the 10th edition, which is much, much less expensive. I reviewed the 10th edition as well, and it is also very good. However, you will miss some of the recent case studies and other info that has been added in the 11th edition.

4.0 out of 5 stars Renting is a Good Solution for High Textbook Costs
Format: HardcoverVerified PurchaseI started grad school recently, which means once again in my life I will be regularly getting screwed by the racket that is college textbooks. A used copy of this book would have cost me a couple hundred bucks, but Amazon offered me the chance to rent it for three months for $90. I have received the book and it is in poor condition (lots of markings, binding is separating on the inside), but the book's condition hardly matters since I am going to return it anyway. Thank you Amazon for helping me to save so much money this semester, next time please don't wait until I pay $90 to rent a book to drop the price down to $30, as I have seen today.
I agree with the other reviews here that say this textbook is very boring. Such is the life of a college student I suppose; if anyone here has ever read an interesting textbook I would love to hear about it. I have the same attitude toward textbooks that I do toward unicorns and the Loch Ness monster- "Seeing is believing."

5.0 out of 5 stars My Experience
Format: HardcoverVerified Purchase"I love it" is the highest option closest to my experience. I had been pricing shopping around the internet for this book new and used. In researching I found the used edition to be most feasible. I found this book from this seller and the condition was marked as "good". I ordered the book and my expectations was a "good" book. Upon arrival, I inspected the book and it was in "very good condition". I will say I don't feel beat as a result of the book other than me believing "NO" book should cost $180 dollars. I would recommend the seller as a creditable source of purchasing books.
