Review
"Inside Social Life is a comprehensive approach to navigating the journey from understandings of the self to the interconnections of self and society."--Patrick Archer, St. Ambrose University"This is the best reader available for conveying the power of interactionist theory. Collectively the articles demonstrate the breadth of interactionist thought, illuminate the experiences of diverse and oftentimes overlooked populations, and facilitate recognition of the link between micro and macro sociology."--Gary Grizzle, Barry University
"I like Inside Social Life because of the range of interesting topics covered that fit nicely into my overall outline of topics. I especially like the introductory sections to each substantive grouping. The pedagogy is the reason I use and will continue to use the book."--Gary T. Deimling, Case Western Reserve University

4.0 out of 5 stars The readings are rather short (that’s a good thing:)
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseI rented the book and it came brand new, so that was cool. I suppose if the book is required for a class you are taking, whether you like it or not you still have to read it haha. It’s a book with a bunch of short readings with research methods, etc. Not a hard read, but I didn’t like that there was no index in the back to look up specific terms.
