I will continue to refer to this throughout my practice. It is not exhaustive, of course, but really seems to get all the good stuff. It's readable, too. This is one you don't want to sell back to the bookstore if you are a psych student.

Thank you Sharf, you have made things so much easier for us students. When I received the book, I could not help but marvel at the great work and professionalism it portrays. I am using it in my PhD program and it is the key book for my studies.

I bought this book years ago when I was in grad school, and I still refer to it from time to time to refresh my memory. It is well laid out and easy to understand.

This is a great textbook. I used it for my Theories of Counseling course in my Master's Counseling program. It provides a nice overview of each theory and even includes a number of alternative/less used theories. It is organized well and follows a standard format throughout the entire text.
