5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent text
Verified PurchaseI will continue to refer to this throughout my practice. It is not exhaustive, of course, but really seems to get all the good stuff. It's readable, too. This is one you don't want to sell back to the bookstore if you are a psych student.

Verified PurchaseThank you Sharf, you have made things so much easier for us students. When I received the book, I could not help but marvel at the great work and professionalism it portrays. I am using it in my PhD program and it is the key book for my studies.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent textbook!
Verified PurchaseThis is a great textbook. I used it for my Theories of Counseling course in my Master's Counseling program. It provides a nice overview of each theory and even includes a number of alternative/less used theories. It is organized well and follows a standard format throughout the entire text.
