- Reviewed in Australia on 28 March 2023Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseReceived the book today. My review is not about the content of the book but about the printing and binding quality. Printing is very good, but binding is worst. Seems it’s a pirated copy. I have just started reading it, already two pages are coming out.
Don’t buy from this seller.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buen libro!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book - Rigorous without being Rigidly Painful
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseExcellent book - Rigorous without being Rigidly Painful
Varian, MWG (Mas-Collel, Whinstron, Green) are the two other commonly used books.
MWG is of course, the most detailed book. But the notation can be dense and hence it takes time to get familiar with it.
I found Jehle and Reny to have the most intuitive explanations and the notation take less effort and time to get used to. Also, the appendix is perhaps the best one out there. One review of the appendix will help some have an initial understanding of the most common mathematical techniques used for Microeconomics.

5.0 out of 5 stars Standard graduate textbook
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseAs far as textbooks go, this one was far from the worst. And the "international edition" is of course what any self-respecting prospective economist would go for.
