    I am becoming a reading specialist and found this book an amazing resource. For teachers that want to take their craft of teaching literacy seriously, know the theoretical perspectives, have real life applications of these perspectives, and in an easy to read way...this is a great book. All too often, educational literature is so boring, but I felt this book had a great balance of being informative while at the same time practical. I love it and will keep to refer back to myself and share with teachers I work with for a very long time!
