Essential Australian Law: second edition Hardcover – 31 August 2005
Written specifically for undergraduate law students, this short text provides a clear and concise guide to the key elements in the law syllabus.
Fully updated this second edition takes into account recent changes in the law and examines each topic from a comparative perspective of both the federal and State systems. Each chapter opens with a checklist which highlights key areas in the chapter, this is followed by an expanded treatment of the 'essential' issues, paying particular attention to examination topics.
By avoiding the complexities of many textbooks, Essential Australian Law provides students with a clear understanding of the law, so that they can then build on their knowledge by reference to recent cases, legislation and academic articles referred to in the text, returning to this book for revision purposes. Due to its lucid and comprehensible style it also recommended for students studying law as part of another discipline.
