    I think mathematical definitions and theorems should be explained by numbers and operations, most proofs in this book are words and less calculations, made me more confused, and examples under definitions and theorems are too easy or too difficult, and difficult examples are also explained by words. Not recommended. Please find another book as a replacement.

    I am a math major and have read lots of books on descrete math and logic.
    This is by far the best one I have read: it is comprehensive and well organized.
    Some of the exercises may appear useless, but they are not. As you work your way through the chapters, you will realize that the exercises had a purpose in mastering the material.

What could be explained accessibly and intuitively, instead takes paragraphs of “smart” terms and inaccessible language with poor examples or no examples all together.
