I bought this to try to consolidate what I had learnt in a day-course -'ECG for Psychiatrists'. Very useful reference book.

5.0 out of 5 stars The most comprehensive, must have guide for ECG on the planet

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent and concise intro to the EKG.
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseI'm a second year medical student and I found this book to be utterly fantastic. Everyone has been told to go out and buy the nearly ubiquitous book by Dubin. In my opinion, this book is vastly superior to Dubin's text. It manages to cover all of the basics of a full 12 lead EKG while explaining each additional piece of data in a step-wise and logical fashion. At no point did I feel like I was being pushed to memorize, but by the time I had finished reading the text (which you can do in one sitting) I felt a true understanding of what I was seeing in the EKG tracings. This book was recommended to me by a faculty member at my university who trained in the British system so I'm assuming it may have a larger audience outside of the U.S.
So in summary, I think this book out performs Dubin's EKG text. Others may disagree as everyone has their own style of learning.

5.0 out of 5 stars Danach ist (fast) jedes EKG ein Kinderspiel

5.0 out of 5 stars Super helpful book
Verified PurchaseThis is by far the best and most simplified book on ECGs. T starts from the very beginning, explaining the purpose of the ECG, how to interpret them, and even goes through common pathologies and how to spot them on a trace.
As a beginner to ECGs, I I found this book very useful and will be referring to it in the future.
