Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseI have been using these case file books for extra studying in medical school. I would prefer a case narratives over random facts any day.
The book operates like this: a story about a patient followed by the science behind their symptoms and disease and then ending with treatment options. A beginning, middle, and end, if you will.
I think the biggest qualm that med students might find with this book is that it doesn't offer quick review or bullets. But I think the extra time spent reading instead of skimming bullet points is worth it.
