About the Author

Jean-Paul and Rebecca M. Valette are widely respected modern language authors for college and high school programs. A native of France, Jean-Paul Valette is a full-time writer. Rebecca Valette is a professor emeritus of Romance Languages at Boston College and past president of the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF). In 2006, the Valettes were honored by the French government and named Officier and Commandeur dans l'ordre des Palmes Academiques for their outstanding contributions in promoting French language and culture in the United States.

Cannot learn a language without learning and practicing to listen. Cengage does not supply the necessary audio access for this workbook and does not take accountability for this deficiency. I had to return this book for a full refund. Do not buy. Completely wasted my time. This workbook looks promising and appear to complement the textbook nicely, but it is useless to me since I cannot access the audio components to do the listening exercises in this workbook.

    I bought the ebook and have to wonder why the ebook is so much cheaper than the physical copy. I can't find a way to print out this book to physically do the exercises, so what's the point of the ebook in the first place? Lower the price of the physical book, because $100 just for a workbook is ridiculous and there should be no reason for the ebook.
