    Although you can find online copies (both new and older editions) for free online, it is more ethical to buy the book. You can search up the author of this book and see what type of work they are involved in, and in a sense you are supporting that effort by paying. I don't think this text was necessarily required to do well in the course but it is nice to have-- if I had time I'd read it more; it could be a good review book later on rather than a guide.
