5.0 out of 5 stars Straight to the Point

This textbook is pretty basic in that it gets to the point of definitions and gives short, complete examples to make it an easy read. It's easy to learn the material the way it's set up, and the review cards in the back are a great resource when studying for an exam.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Book

Good Book. To the point, succinct. Clear. This book is an easy read, but a good read as well. The material and examples are practical, not theoretical which makes it easy for students to apply the concepts to work and educational experiences.

1.0 out of 5 stars Fails to deliver promised MP3 files of chapters
Reviewed in the United States on 15 November 2010

This book (and my other text from the same company) promises MP3 files to download and listen to. Neither have such files. I have contacted the company with no solution offered (no excuse was offered either). If you still dare buy the book, look at page 93. There is a full page ad in the book titled "Listen up!" This promises the MP3 files and gives a web address that is no longer functional. You are redirected from the printed web address to a company page that then fails to deliver any MP3 files. They try to sell you products...!

4.0 out of 5 stars good text book
Reviewed in the United States on 25 July 2010

I don't know much about business, in fact this was my first class. However, I found it to be really interesting. The summary cards in the back and highlighted concepts w/ definitions on the sides of the page are really helpful. I bought it used, so no internet part for me, so I can't comment on that. Anyway, it's not overly dense and seems laid out pretty well.

This is a required book for a class I'm taking. It is very good, and I can see where it will become a desk ref book in years to come.
