5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely helpful for an engineering mathematics student!
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseI bought this book as I was studying a computing mathematics module at uni, and the book that was recommended to me, was extremely difficult to understand as it didn't provide a clear guide on how to get to the actual answers and showed minimal working out, often none at all. I bought this book hoping it would at least clear some things up for me, and it did! I wish I had bought this book in the beginning rather than the one I was recommended as I used this the majority of the time and and it was sooo much cheaper!! The book I originally bought seem to think I had a clear of understanding of what they were talking about so it didn't seem to explain things, whereas explains things thoroughly and shows the workings out. There are plenty of questions for you to answer and the answers are provided, so it makes the learning process much easier. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone studying engineering mathematics rather than buying expensive books, as they may not be a useful as you may think and despite this book being older than the one I was recommended it covered all the topics I needed to know about! Without this I would not have pass the module, so I'm glad I looked for other alternatives!
I also bought this second hand, and cant' complain about the quality, it looks brand new! All pages are readable and there is no tears on any of the pages!
