About the Author

Robert Stone is a Professor in the Biology Department at Suffolk County Community College and is also a co-author of the successful Coloring Guide to Anatomy and Physiology and Atlas of Skeletal Muscles. Robert, and his wife, Judith, have combined teaching experience of over 30 years. Judith Stone is Adjunct Professor of Biology at Suffolk County Community College. She is the co-author of the successful Coloring Guide to Anatomy and Physiology and Atlas of Skeletal Muscles. Judith works on the College Board Achievement Test in Biology. Judith and her husband, Robert, have combined teaching experience of over 30 years.

    does what it says on the tin..its an atlas of anatomy. There are no colours (so the smaller spinal muscles are a little hard to make out sometimes) and pages are thin. For there basics, origin-attachment-nerves etc, its very useful. However it is basic - so no boney landmarks or areas to palpate. What the newer ones are like i do not know.
    If you're dipping into anatomy...a cheap one like this will do, but if you're more serious...try 'trail guide' series, its more comprehensive and may stay on your shelf longer.
