Conceptual Integrated Science: International Edition Paperback – 28 September 2012
Purchase options and add-ons
This best-selling introduction to the physical and life sciences emphasizes concepts over computation and treats equations as a guide to thinking so the reader can connect ideas.
Conceptual Integrated Science covers physics, chemistry, earth science, astronomy, and biology at a level appropriate for non-science students. The conceptual approach relates science to everyday life, is personal and direct, deemphasizes jargon, and emphasizes central ideas. The conceptual ideas serve as the foundation supporting and integrating all the sciences.

5.0 out of 5 stars just like the title says integrated science
Verified PurchaseI already have a BS in biology, but i used this class as a refresher. The book summarizes each section of science and ties it all together.... just like the title says integrated science. It was very easy to understand and it showed you the bigger picture of concepts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book!
Verified PurchaseI am a father that wants to review his science classes in order to be able to explain certain things to my kids. This book is such a pleasure to read. Just open it randomly and start reading. There are links to other chapters in order to understand the bigger picture, so it has the advantages of a website with the pleasure of holding a great book.
