After finishing the end of semester exam, I found that I had to read through EVERY single lecture notes available to prepare myself (the least) for the questions provided in the exam. It would have been better if the lecturers provided us with specific topic that were going to be in the exam, saving students from focussing on topics that weren't going to be covered. In general, a tip for future students, I recommend reading and understanding every single lecture note to be fully prepared for the exam.

Having just completed the end of semester exam, I feel that this course did not properly prepare me for the types of questions in the exam. We did not receive enough practise questions in the format that the exam would be in (tutorial papers were short answer questions, however the exam was all multiple choice questions). In future years, it would be handy to have smaller tutorial group that were compulsory, and have a tutor per group who went through a tutorial paper (in the same format that the exam questions would be) with the small group and would be able to go through some complex course content if students did not understand. It would also be a good idea if we had time to go through all the course content in the allocated lecture times. This semester we had to do several lectures by ourself at home without the lecturer even going through some content, which at times was very tricky to go through individually. It was a surprise then, that some of these difficult concepts were tested in the exam, after never have gone through them with a lecturer at all!
