Main focus is on presenting material. No methods, very little research. They say Engineering Research school in ANU is Elite of Elite. Course teacher Daniel listens and understands the feedback but nothing changes. I learned more about research methodologies in PHYS 1101. I felt like this is a play research course, we had to do a very low level research and spend much effort to present the material in even more shallow way. I regret I took this course.

Waste time and money. This course is more likely discussing philosophy and social science issues rather than teaching useful research methods. Writing personal reflection every week is meaningless. Only 30% of the course contents covers research methods, 5% for Matlab programming, the rest are bullshit. It is a disappointing course.
