Principles of Ecology is a foundation subject that will be used in order to enhance knowledge in other subjects in the CSU degree including vegetation ecology, conservation biology and restoration ecology. You will learn key biological and ecological processes including cell biology, population ecology, as well as plant and animal diversity to name a few. The subject also aims to apply both the ecological and biological processes into a scientific method and increase skills in report writing.

The lecturer Dr Dale Nimmo brings this subject alive with engaging lectures, additional resources and relevant pracs. He provided review lectures for the exam which helped immensely to know what to focus on as there's a lot of content.
