Where do I begin with this subject? CHEM1000 is a great course that teaches many baseline concepts for those pursuing a degree in any field somewhat related to chemistry. You learn about thermochemistry, electrochemistry and molecular orbital theory as the major topics. The content can be hard to wrap your head around, as this course is essentially Year 13 Chemistry ATAR. The tutors and lecturers (Max and Mark) are always on the ball with questions and always have the answers. They go out of their way to check you have completed questions to a standard that the unit requires. Ultimately, this unit is a lot of fun, but the content, for me at least, was rather tricky when being introduced to it for the first time.
