Is It wrong of me to say I hated this unit?

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2020

The content isn't actually that difficult BUT you must have tutors who are actually interested in teaching students. One of mine was nothing but condescending and patronizing, which prevents asking questions and really makes you dread the sessions, as well as prevents you actually absorbing the content. If you find yourself with this tutor, switch your schedule and move to another time slot - wish I had done it at the start.

Necessary for health professionals but definitely dry and uninteresting.

Must have lecturers with personality and who are engaging to make this unit survivable. Should use interactive technology more. Rushed at the start and slow at the end. An interesting extension to CMHL1000 - a necessary evil but very dry and uninteresting.

Your basic statistics unit.... Can be hard as the tutorials do drag on and are very question/answer based. Unit coordinator is great! I do recommend this unit if studying health or psychology especially - gives you a good grounding into academic statistics and the levels of evidence.

I think most people find this unit really dry but I had Amanda and she made the classes so interesting and engaging. Pretty easy concepts to grasp and assignments and exam is easy

This was my favourite subject. We had two tutors who made it really fun and engaging. I really enjoyed the different types of educational content - ie. short attachments, short videos etc. I liked the use of Nearpod in class and the quizes each week helped you to stay on top of your learning.

I didn't find it challenging at all . Can't really see the relevance to most health sciences students. The tutorials are really boring and frankly unrequired to pass the unit as a whole.

This unit was structured in a bit of a confusing manner. It wasn't a particularly interesting unit but it also wasn't too difficult :(
