I can't say if this unit was beneficial for me personally, but I can see that it benefited many others who do not know how to communicate in a scientific manner.

Frustrating for anyone who takes the course in 2nd semester. Because this means that you have already been referencing and citing work for the past 6 months. It is mildly helpful, but it takes weeks to get to that point and can feel repetitive and boring.
