I loved this unit. The content was interesting, the labs were really fun, the teaching staff were absolutely amazing. Labs- i really liked that despite being a first year unit, you still got to do a LOT of the practical side of things, rather than just watching demos. There were heaps of ppl roaming around who were always ready and happy to help answer any questions. Lectures- despite the fact this unit covered more of the 'basic' content, it was still really interesting and engaging. Assessments- Mid sem theory test- mostly mcq from memory Mid sem prac test- just the stuff you'd learned in previous weeks so as long as you go to each lab class and read the lab manuals youre good Exam w a theory + prac component- both online, not too difficult. I highly recommend this unit

Top quality unit with top quality staff. The UC & team put their absolute heart and soul into this unit driven by their passion and motivation to not only see students succeed, but spark their interest in biomedical science outside of the set course/unit requirements. You'll feel supported 100% of the way with your learning backed by amazingly organised laboratories with incredible facilities. The content was absolutely fascinating and gives you knowledge to not only apply to your course but also your daily life. Could not recommend this unit more.
