A public health-based unit. I always believed that I had been much more interested in the medical one-on-one health setting however, I found this unit very enjoyable. The UC is absolutely lovely and does everything in her power to equip students with the best tools and feedback for optimal outcomes. This unit was entirely online due to COVID and I believe that the UC handled this wonderfully. A great structure with a manageable amount of work that is easy to follow. Updated 2020 exam was open book and included questions that allowed us to think critically and apply our knowledge; a skill needed in the real world of health. This unit is essential in developing health care workers' cultural sensitivity and teaches us that there are so many more factors outside the medical model that contribute to a person's health and nature of care required.
