If you enjoy the more theoretical side of physics (quantum, nuclear, wave physics) like me, then this is the unit for you. You will go through some calculations in class, they are very straight-forward if you did well in Math Methods/Maths 3cd. Depending on how they write the exam, there may not be any calculations at all (when I did mine, no calculators we permitted). I found that this unit is very theory heavy. It is not a difficult unit in my opinion, but if you tend to struggle with this sort of thing don’t hesitate to ask your peers or Cat. I missed one class and I already fell behind. Try to keep on top of things for this unit.
