Really interesting and fun! The readings each week were enjoyable and varied.

The Unit Chair is a great presenter and made the lectures entertaining and interesting. The unit overall is great for those either wanting to build a career as an author, or those who just want to have some fun. The workshopping is fantastic as it allows the author of the piece to gain some constructive feedback from their tutor, as well as their peers. The environment is very safe and welcoming, so don't feel put off if you're afraid of sharing your writing with others.

A great intro to writing, especially for those who haven't shared/workshopped their writing previously. Constructive feedback and great camaraderie in the tutorials backed up excellent informative lectures by the Unit Chair.

A good opportunity to find out how to get published in journals etc.
