Easy to pass. If it wasn't a core unit - I wouldn't have chosen it, but I did actually find the content interesting and enjoyable, plus they teach you some useful skills for writing, referencing and finding articles etc. The group assignment was a bit annoying as two of our group members didn't really participate, and all the desirable presentation times were booked up quickly. The other two assignments were good though, and the teaching staff were knowledgable and helpful.

I wish this unit wasn't core to my degree because it was so boring and pointless! I stopped attending seminars and classes as soon as I remembered there was no exam and content is so straight forward. Trish has VERY basic replies on the discussion board and takes 2-3 days to write a 1 word response- definitely the slowest I've ever experienced. Don't take this unit if you don't have to!!

Ridiculously easy. Most weeks are just a logical extension of concepts already introduced - which you can easily grasp through the power of common sense. I ended up not even bothering to write notes most weeks due to how little content I was learning. The content that is there is interesting though, and relevant for foundation studies.

Content was good and reasonably interesting, assignments were okay and explained pretty well. Subject is a bit dry and boring if you’ve already done HHD in high school but a good starter subject for uni

Broad topics which is great for introducing health students to a variety of issues. The assignments were relevant to the coursework and support was provided.

extremely easy to the point that it becomes boring, lectures are simple and basic, if you want to easily pass a subject choose this, but if you want something to challenge you intellectually this is not the subject for you

Great first year subject - clear teaching, assignments were manageable and gave a good introduction to the topic of health. Possibly dry and boring if you have studied something similar already. Very large cohort of many disciplines so you also met a ton of people you may not have otherwise, even as a cloud student

The concepts in this subject could have been taught in a short course. I got a little out of it but overall I couldn't wait to be done with it. No matter what I did it was wrong and I became so frustrated I gave up even trying.

Just an incredibly boring subject, although teaching staff is very supportive

very pointless and did not enjoy the subject
