Awesome subject and my teacher was great. Make sure you do ALL the readings and go to every seminar and simulation or you'll miss important information and the opportunity to ask questions. Placement was good, and exam was really easy.

Fantastic subject and my teachers were awesome, make sure you pay attention to content in the classes as they are extremely relevant to the exam! Practicals were super fun and went to placement for 5 days feeling prepared and capable of completing my given tasks.

While I had a very engaging seminar instructor, to gain a rich understanding of this subject takes much self directed learning. I would encourage future students to engage in all the readings, as not doing them leaves you feeling lost as though the subject is poorly structured. I didn't really gain a huge amount of knowledge from the seminars, however the simulations were helpful in putting readings into practice. One criticism I have is around the exam structure and suggested study. The exam was very very different in structure to what was suggested, I therefore found a significant amount of the study I did for the exam irrelevant.

Great unit. The tutor was great, really supportive and helpful. Content was good, basic skills for nurses along with 5 days placement just to get use to the future workload

Loved this unit the most! Interesting, the most relevant to nursing and had practical classes which were fun. Plus the placement at the end of the year which was a great experience.

Amazing subject! Very applicable and important for future nursing work. My tutor made all the difference - it was a fun and engaging class that gave me skills necessary for placement.

Had a great tutor which made all the difference! You really need to be self-motivated and do ALL readings and stay on top of things otherwise you WILL fall behind, but being organised and studying is worth it in the end! Essential unit for nursing placement. Clinics are always fun. Loved it.
