Great follow up from Psych A. Very interesting.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2017

Covers all the main branches of psychology (developmental, personality, psych disorders and treatments, social psych, cross-cultural). We were able to re-submit our lab report for extra marks and the exam was really good, so its easy to get high marks in this unit! Tutors were engaging and gave so much helpful feedback.

Helps with lab report writing skills!

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2016

Another very important building block for the rest of your studies. You'll basically have to read all of the chapters from the textbook that weren't covered in HPS111. Assignment was appropriate and gives good experience into writing a lab report. Overall, well run unit.

The content was very similar to VCE psychology and i enjoyed the varied topics however the assignment was difficult and instructions were very vague.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2016

Like HPS111, there is a lot of overlap with VCE Psych. The content was interesting and the workload was very low. The assignment was a lab report and there was a lot of staff support. The exam was incredibly easy.

Very well ran unit. Lots of concepts to grasp however very supported in the learning. The lab report assignment was clear and support was great.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2015

A great continuation from hps121. Super informative, great teachers.

Loved this unit! I thought it was very interesting. The teaching staff were fabulous and would definitely recommend to anyone interested in doing it! The assessment was a lab report which doesnt sound fun but you get heaps of support and help to write it. The exam wasn't too bad because the content was interesting.
