It is a very interesting subject. Assignments are ok. I did this subject online. Tutors very accessible.

Quite an average unit. Content was great, and the tutorials were engaging however over 120 students had issues with the multiple assignments and marking. Many students marginally passed assignments only due to grammatical errors and other petty issues. Lectures contained tutorial activities which sometimes wasted over an hour of lecture time. Would be good as an online subject as the content is really interesting, but overall unit chair is disorganised and unit is a waste of money in my opinion.

This is a really great unit. One of my favourites. The unit content is of a high standard and very enjoyable to cover and learn. It is highly interesting to cover the complexities of cognition. The only less-riveting part of the unit was the reasoning and judgment topics, which were quite dry, and were covered by a different lecturer than the usual one (although, that lecturer has since left). Still, that smal downfall in the midst of a great unit overall can be forgiven, and I would continue to recommend this unit.
