Clear assessment tasks, plenty of resources for each weeks' content (lecture, recorded class, seminar, textbook), fun and engaging seminar (as far as stats can be), great teaching staff. Would recommend

Very well taught subject. It is a very tricky and content dense unit so it is crucial to stay on top of your work, attend all lectures and receive additional tutoring if you are struggling to understand some concepts as it is very easy to quickly fall behind. However, as long as you're on top of it and you complete your revision notes as you go, you can smash the assignment and the open book exam!

Fantastic subject. I did it online. Our tutor was fantastic. Really explained everything to the T, and hundred of times. Exam very fair. Assignment is big but rewarding.

A lot of people freak out about this subject, but as long as you keep up to date with the content, and don't leave the assignment until a week before the due date, you'll do fine. I would recommend understanding the content as you go, as it's very hard to catch up if you get behind. If you're struggling with it, make use of your in-class tutors or private tutors (like me!). Also, it's an open book exam, so get started on your exam notes early.

This was a brilliant unit. The unit chair was fantastic. So many resources made it fun, interactive & less daunting. This was a unit I was extremely apprehensive about but to my surprise it ended up being the most enjoyable unit of my course to date.

I undertook the online version and couldn't have been happier, the lecturers couldn't have been more helpful- content was easily explained as was the expectation around the assignment and weekly quizzes were simple, easily able to achieve 80-100% each week. The exam was open book- what more could you ask for in a subject requiring 65% mark before allowing you to go further?

staff were really supportive. the weekly content and exam were fair and manageable. the only downside was the assignment (lab report) was really hard. the average grade of the lab report for the entire unit was a credit.

If you want to continue with psychology to a higher level (e.g. Honours or Grad.Dip) is is ESSENTIAL to maintain at least a 65% pass level. Otherwise you WILL need to repeat the subject to be accepted. If you only study for one subject the whole year, this is the one to study for in you want to continue with psychology post-BA level.
