Did this unit in trimester 3 Unit staff were very supportive and answered any questions I had on the discussion board very quickly. The lectures were very easy to understand and so was the material (especially for someone with zero prior physics knowledge). Assessments were also easy to do well in (weekly quizzes) and one group assignment. These were worth 75% together and the exam was worth 25%. I was fortunate to have done well in the quizzes and the group assignment and was sitting at 70% before the exam, so technically all I needed was a pass on the exam and I would have an HD. Overall don't stress if you've never done physics before because you can still ace this subject!

No support, no lectures, rude unit staff... Hard for people who struggle with physics, but doable. Just don`t expect quality teaching (or any teaching) for the price.

Boring, kinda unnecessary. Year 10 physics plus the concept of magnification and buoyancy. Not even the actual formula of gravity-easy. No studying is an easy Distinction and half effort is a HD. If you've done physics in year 11 and 12 and taking this course you'll know what I mean.

The final exam was harder than expected although it was all multiple choice questions, the assignments were alright actually but the subject was overall a bit dry and boring for me.
