This unit is not terrible at all!! Make sure you attend all the tutorials and lectures, and don't fall behind on content as it will definitely stack up quickly. Start the assignment early and work through the structure provided for you! Get yourself good notes for the exam and you will be absolutely fine. If you're a psych major then pay attention, you will thank yourself in later research methods units.

Content is dry however it is a research unit after all. Online resources are really good and extremely helpful when it comes to the assignment. Exam is soul destroying but you can take notes in with you.

Once you get passed the fact that it is statistics, it isn't that bad. All of the information is there for you. Just do as you are directed and don't try to intellectualise it too much. The assignment is laid out for you, to the point of if you follow it to the T then you can't mess the format. Learn the psychological model theory really well and let the program do the rest for you.

Dress it up how you like, this unit is still the dreaded stats! BUT, it doesn't have to be dreaded. The material is ALL available from day 1 of semester, so you can work at your own pace, and the lecturers are easily contactable and are friendly to deal with. Remember - when it comes to the assignment, you are not writing a thesis! Pick the most basic concept. Also, try not to read the negative comments on the discussion forums, and if you get stuck, contact your lecturer or get a tutor. You can do it!!!
