Very well executed lecture and tutorial.

This unit is an excellent intro to organic chem. It will step you through recognising organic molecules, nomenclature and interactions and reactions. The lecture content is quite detailed, but presented in a way that makes sense, with numerous examples to step through. The unit lecturer is excellent and very approachable. She makes the lectures interesting and presents the content in a logical and systematic way. The labs are fun and demonstrate the theory from the lectures in an effective manner. If chem is your thing, give this unit a go, you won't regret it!!

One of the most interesting units in chemistry ECU has to offer. It covers all material in an in-depth manner, but in a way that makes it engaging and great to learn. All lectures and labs are run at a high standard, and you gain a lot of knowledge while learning hands on. The course coordinator/lecturer is an outstanding teacher, and all of the staff are willing to help you learn and understand the content.
