Reviews
Review from laboratory demonstrator: The topic takes a broad look into classical physics, with majority of the content covering optics, optical instruments and polarisation. As this is a second-year topic, it is expected that you understand derivations and integrations, as well as wave behaviour and flux. Though not as complicated as Quantum Mechanics, you still need a solid understanding in mathematics to be able to succeed in the topic.
