Great subject, very easy to get a good mark but if you try hard you will end up with a well made portfolio that will assist you with your career! Glad they changed the subject name to Work and Employability since the Employment Relations wouldn't suit this subject not even close.

Very good learning content during lectures and very thorough explanations and workings in workshops, also has very dedicated lecturer's /tutors

Very basic subject - I found lectures too boring to attend. Big focus on pointless group discussion. Ended up with a 7 by combining all the powerpoints for the semester and taking out unnecessary slides a few days before the exam to study. Follow the guidelines for the career portfolio and you'll be set. First quiz is on textbook material which they don't really tell you so be ready to access a textbook!

Current information on employment relations, very interesting information but not necessarily essential dependent on your major.

So much more to this area of study than trade unions, wish they didn't force on just that
