The lecturers/convenors aren't the most likeable people. The course consists of mini-lectures with no live or face-to-face lectures, which is not the most engaging content. The MATE bytes program is a waste of time. Labs are fun if you like operating microscopes. Some of the content is interesting, but there is quite a bit of overlap with other foundation-year health courses. Only choose this as an elective if you're **really** keen on biology. If not, I'd give this one a miss.

Interesting course, convenor could have been nicer, but overall experience was pleasant.

i thought this subject would just be a repeat of biology but it was more difficult than anticipated so be sure to study the content and understand how it works well

Most lecturers for this subject are not too great. Could be difficult for those with no high school biology background.
