This unit is a basic accounting unit. This should be easy if it is done in a correct way. There is only one 3 hours seminar each week. However, the time always not managed efficiently. I got Peipei as my lecturer. She is a harsh and aggressive person. She always said ask any questions you have, but she sometimes get angry if we ask questions. In the class, she usually did 30 minutes announcement at the beginning of the class. Then, it is followed by 1 hour of lecture. The way she explained the content to us was weird. From the first to the middle part of the slide, she explained things carefully and slowly. Then, from the middle to the last slide, she explained things very fast, assuming we already know the content and tell us that it is related to the earlier part of the content and ask us to read it. After that, it could be a class test or homework discussions. However, most of the time from mid-term break, she did not explain it as most of the students did not do it. She said that we should do first so we can get enough learning. She also brought Jesus name when no one or only a few students did the homework, for me this was rude and impolite. Please be aware that the class tests rule were always very strict! We need to bring our ID card to check the attendance, or we would get 0 mark, and also some others very strict and tight rule, which is even more strict than the exam rules conducted by university in the exam period. There were many assignments in this unit, the workload for this could be around twice than the other units, and the deadline also not arranged well. Some good things here were no exam in this unit and 20 percent mark is free as long as you do it and obey her rule. Peipei was nice in the first half of the semester, but not in the second half of the semester, please be aware of it! She need to be evaluated as well!
