Quite possibly the worst unit I have ever done at Macquarie. If you though you were going to learn how to actually strategically manage a business, you'll be sorely disappointed. Instead, this unit is purely about technical jargon and excessively complex readings that all amounts to a unit that is largely just about fluff and nonsense. Be prepared to fudge your way through essays and the exam and learn nothing actually about management. Don't get me wrong, I'm not lazy and not doing the work, my grades are actually quite decent for this unit, but I can certainly say that I've learned nothing of value from it. Stay far away, choose a better elective.

This subject is supposed to be useful, but the teaching method and chapter arrangement ruin the unit. I have seen on YouTube about this strategic management what they offering is much more useful and understandable , so the question comes, why the fk am I wasting my money on this?

Stay away. Most boring and dry subject. If you don't have to do it don't do it.
