This unit was incredibly well run, accommodating, and enjoyable. Lectures were interesting, engaging and Oli and Emily made fantastic convenors. The problem sets are really good at getting you comfortable with the mathematical questions, and you can work on them in class with your peers to consolidate your understanding. The literature review was very short (which actually made it a harder assignment because everything had to fit within the word limit), but it was very broad and self-directed which was great and meant you could write about really anything that interested you. They were very transparent about what would be covered in the exam, and had weekly quizzes (not marked) to test your understanding in tutorials. I highly recommend this unit to any biology or health student.
