very interesting content

Super interesting and enjoyable. This unit was structured well and it is easy to keep up to date with each week. Got to learn about lots of different disorders and delusions. Only thing I didn't like was there was no online tutorial available via zoom, the tutorial work was all covered through iLearn.

such an interesting and awesome unit! Just make sure you take lots of notes but easy to get a D/HD. Highly recommend it even as a flexible unit

Very easy, <1 hour of lecture content per week. Structured very clearly, with a new disorder every week and its easy to digest. Barely even have to keep up with the new content because it's so easy to come back. Great for learning new stuff but also an easy elective.

Easy unit, really helpful if your degree is in psych! Very bearable workload, with a new topic each week, organisation is key! If you keep up every week and make good notes you'll do great in mid-sem and weekly quizzes ((: Easy exam too, just do past papers. Getting a D/HD is super easy (: Couldn't recommend this unit more especially for first years to get a good vibe for uni and for second or third year students wanting a good unit!

THIS UNIT IS WORTH IT!!! The workload is super easy but the knowledge you take out of it is UNREAL!!!! This is the unit that you talk to your non-psych friends about and it makes you look like you're the writer of a criminal minds episode. It's so. good.

Great unit!!! Good workload, you only have one tute a week, and you watch the lecs on iLearn. Easy to do well in this unit.

THIS UNIT IS SO GOOD! The weekly workload is reasonably sized and each week is a new disorder so you're always going to find out something new or interesting. For the final exam if you literally do all the past papers you're bound to get basically full marks because they reuse the same questions in really similar or exact wording. Really good elective for PSYC majors or LING majors. The online lectures are really well organized and are pretty clear on what they expect from assignments and students.

Very interesting and easy to do well as long as you keep up with the work each week. If you're taking the subject because you have a disorder that's discussed in the unit or know someone who does, just be warned that a lot of the lectures and tutorials are phrased in a very 'us and them' kinda way, as if no one with these disorders could possibly be in the class. I took the class with a friend who has autism and we had to do an activity where someone "pretended" to have autism; it was very uncomfortable. Hopefully that changes in later years. Otherwise, I loved this unit!

Very easy to get a HD in this, did this as my people unit. Exam is purely content so have to know specific references and stats from the lectures. Essay was quite hard to write but convenors marked it fairly. Overall well run course. Content was interesting, definitely recommend this as a people unit.
