Anatomy of Limbs and back is a interesting, fun and excellent unit, but it is also very content heavy. The staff are very helpful in clarifying difficult topics and offering useful tips on how to prepare for the practical test and Final exam. This unit provides the opportunity for students to study real human anatomy in the wet labs, which deepens your understanding and appreciation of the human body. Here are some tips to do well in this unit... 1- DO NOT CRAM THIS SUBJECT! 2-use the lecture slides as your primary study source 3- Listen to all of the lectures. The lecturer tells what you need to know. for some of the muscles you only need to know the innervation.4- attend to all of your tutorials and Lab 5- use youtube videos for revising 6- join a study group. 7- REVISE, REVISE, REVISE AND REVISE GOOD LUCK!

This is a very interesting unit and provides students with the opportunity to observe real human anatomy in the wet labs. However, it is VERY content heavy, i relied mostly on Kenhub and youtube for revising. Do not fall even one week behind as it can then become overwhelming.

Excellent continuation of the Anatomical Studies series. Very similar structure to HLTH108, with a little more emphasis on functional anatomy and clinical applications. No histology. Staff are all amazing, helpful and very friendly. Wet labs are fun and very useful so pay attention! The only assessments other than the final exam are practical spot tests. Lots of memorisation in this one once again. The lab manual is very useful but make sure to constantly revise as you go.
