I found this unit really enjoyable! Did it externally and had a lot of information on ilearn that helped with assessments even though I didn’t read much of it x

I did this unit online and it was quite challenging. Tutors take their time to reply back to questions and when you take their feedback, they mark you wrong. The exam was based on the textbook which wasn't said until the end of the semester so we had to sit and watch old lectures when that was a waste of time. The information itself was interesting. Try and do this unit internally.

worst subject ever, if you enjoy lectures slides being made up of the textbook with no real effort made for the subject to even slightly be interesting, exams that are all scenario based and overall a poorly organised unit...then this is for you. lazy is the one word I can use to describe HRM250. don't even get me started on the teaching staff, they are rude and spend too much time creating the "perfect playlist" rather than actually aiming to help and educate students. The content itself isn't bad if the tutors actually put some effort in rather than students having to teach themselves the course content. Finally, Birchen, if you have her as a tutor, RUN! english is sloppy, had the audacity to mark my assessment saying it needed to be rewritten when the whole time it felt like I was reading a letter written by a FOB Nail technician. She also refuses to let you write down tutorial slides, does not interact at all with students and according to her LinkedIn account has 0 real-world experience in the job and only knows about recruitment and selection from the textbook. overall please do not do this unit unless you have to, save your sanity as no student deserves to go through the pain of this bunch of lazy, unorganised academics PS. WHY THE HELL IS THE TUTOR MATERIAL A WEEK AHEAD OF THE LECTURE, LECTURES ARE ON FRIDAY, YET THE MONDAY WE ARE DISCUSSING THINGS WE HAVENT EVEN BEEN TAUGHT

Did this unit externally but recommend doing it in person because the tutors and unit convener are not great at communicating and take ages to reply to emails and questions. Interesting content but you definitely need to textbook to do well.

Exam is very specific to the textbook. Interesting subject but assessments were marked quite hard and also recommend staying on top of weekly work as there is a lot of content to remember.

There was a lot of content covered so I recommend studying it internally as communications and instructions weren't as helpful as I would've liked them to be. Content was very interesting, I just wish the unit was organised better for external students.
