I absolutely loved property law. It's a difficult subject to wrap your head around, but the moment it all clicks into place is awesome.

I ended up doing a lot better in this unit than I expected but with that being said you really can't rely on lectures alone for this topic. The readings are so essential because Shayne often assessed areas of law that were covered in the readings alone (or only very briefly in lectures). The tutorials are going to be your best friend (especially if you have the convenor, Shayne). Definitely try to attend all tut's, it will boost your mark like crazy. Overall, if you do the weekly readings and attend most tuts, getting a mark btwn 80-85 should be easily achievable.

Poor support for external students. Lecturer has a good sense of humour. But overall very bad teaching and communication in this unit. This is my 3rd degree and this is the worst subject I have encountered by a country mile. My advice is to avoid Macquarie for external studies if possible.
