Super interesting and the quality of teaching is brilliant. The convenor is approachable, very supportive and explains difficult concepts in a very cohesive and simple manner. The on-campus sessions prep you for the final very well. Would definitely recommend doing this unit in session 3.

Fantastic unit. Anyone looking into taking this unit in session 3 - do it! The content was extremely interesting, the unit convenor is easy to understand and explains some difficult and confusing concepts well. When you go into the OCS everything falls into place. The assessments are very much independent research however you will get help with understanding the basics from the textbook and the lectures. The weighting of the assessment is a bit daunting (50% for a 2,500 word essay and 50% for a 2,000 take home assignment) so it is important to keep on top of the work. The unit convenor also has no ounce of grouchy-superior-professor syndrome. He is approachable and did not palm off any questions. All you have to do is force yourself to study instead of going to the beach.
