If you enjoyed the biopsychology portion of PSY236 I would recommend this course for those interested in the neuropsychology field. The topics covered are broad and lectures are conducted by many different experts. Studying neuroscience can seem daunting but the 2 exams were only based on 5 lectures each. The grant application also was intimidating to me at first but once you find out what specific research question you want to investigate, it gets easier and you can choose whatever interests you. There are two tutorials dedicated to it and the lectures cover neuroscience techniques that you can use in your methodology. Overall, the lectures and the grant assignment were a great experience for those considering a potential career in research.

Have no idea why this subject is rated so highly.. it’s hard to think of positives for this unit and the major writing task is a joke. Avoid at all costs if it’s an elective.
