Unit convenor sassy and inattentive to students' needs. Provided an opportunity for students to give feedback half way through, and spent the next seminar talking about why our feedback was invalid. Assessment requirements are unclear, and content to support us in doing it is old and has not been reviewed (he was surprised when I told him there was an issue). Most lectures consist of him saying "make sure you understand ___" without actually teaching it. A lot of the learning comes from the textbooks. Interesting content, just super frustrating to get through with this convenor. Inconsistent lecture postings (when done online), and late lecture slide releasing. He does all of the lectures himself, with ONE guest lecturer in week 11. Whenever you ask questions on the forum, he never provides straight answers (even when he could just say "yes" and leave it at that), to the point where students were reluctant by the end of week 2 to even post. Final exam is open book.

Unit Convenor is awful and does not promote equal opportunities for learning. He teaches in his way and does not account for the fact everyone has a different learning style. I did not feel supported in this unit.

The requirements set for assessments were often unclear, and some concepts were poorly explained. Other than that it was an interesting unit.
