Description
BioPRIA (Bioresource Processing Institute of Australia), formerly the Australian Pulp and Paper Institute (APPI) is part of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Monash. Located at 15 Alliance Lane, down the laneway opposite Building 75, this building is mostly staff offices (BioPRIA and APPI), in addition to research laboratories. Stairs to level 1 are located opposite the entrance to the building. The institution focuses its research on the conversion and processing of bioresources. Their main research areas within this include biointerfaces and diagnostics, nanomaterials and composites and biorefinery and Green processes.
