Reviews
Super fun and doable even for those without VCE Accounting. Make sure you do your homework when you can and you'll be fine as this whole unit is about application.

Very useful unit teaching the basics of accounting and providing a foundation for students looking to major in accounting. Just to clarify that the future accounting units are not as easy as this one is, but still requires a decent amount of effort to score well. Lecturer explained theories well and i had a fantastic tutor whom provided excellent explanations into the questions during the tutorial.

The subject deals with introductory principles of Finance and leads to the understanding of complex financial scenarios by developing expertise of the subject. I recommend to go through the text book, lecture slides and exercises besides tutorial questions.

This is a very useful practical subject. Make sure you attend the lectures (Lecturer Alan is very fun and helpful) and tutorials (tutors will help you through any difficulties with the homework). Reading the lecture slides and doing homework every week is the way to pass every exam. Even though this is more of a practical unit, do not underestimate the theory part as it weights about 30% of all tests and final. Reading the textbook is useful if you want to get HD.

Simple accounting subject, I got 90+ when I was studying 3 years ago. The final exam is a bit long and require students in carefully preparing for it

Basic fundamentals of financial accounting. Easy unit for those with ANY previous accounting study.
